Equipment for TSW session

The equipment required for a Therapeutic Storywriting session is as follows:
  1. Bell or chime
  2. Blank page ‘project’ book (just over A4) for pupils and teacher
  3. Lined A5 sheets of paper in centre of table with story starter written out
  4. Pens or pencils – discourage rubbers or rulers
  5. Coloured pencils
  6. Chairs arranged around a central table

The pupils’ books should be kept by the teacher.

The teacher uses her book to write the Teachers story and to make any comments on the session e.g. absences, behaviour, concerns…
